I deleted all my Microsoft Home & Student 2007 so that I could install the 2010 version but then my computer completely shut down and refused to even startup until I restored it to the point before the 2010 installation. Now I have no Microsoft Word or any of the other features that came with that 2007 version. What can I do now?
Optional Information: Computer OS: Windows XP Browser: AOL Already Tried: Tried to delete files from my programs that I seldom used and then tried to reinstall the 2010 version and it did the same thing and so I took it out.
Hi
Welcome to JustAnswer.com
Do you have 2010 version disk?
No. I tried to install it as a download from the Microsoft site
How can I get back my 2007 version?
But have you purchased the 2010 version yet?
It was gving me problems when I tried to open Word documents and so that is why I decided to try to replace it.
No, I was using the trial version first
Do you have the Office 2007 disk or installation key?
I am sure I have it somewhere but only God knows where
No disc
I am traveling out of the US and need Word to continue my work
Are you there?
yes
ok do you have the confirmation mail from microsoft?
I am willing to purchase a new version but I do not believe that the 2010 version will work on my computer.
I do not have anything like that with me
ok, have you tried going much back using restore to see if office comes back?
When I tried to restore it did not give me a place where I could designate a date

Agree and run the tool
If I could restore this back to May 3rd I know that I had the 2007 version then
