Customer Question

Hi
I am still struggling with Excel and working on 2 screens.
I was wondering if it would be possible to reload excel, I am sure it is corrupted.
There are little problems such as not being able to see the sum of an array of numbers at the bottom of the screen and even adding mistakes!
Would it be possible to reload excel and if yes how do i go about it to reload?
Must I reload the whole Microsoft Office suite of programs?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer~! My name is Travis and I would like to assist you with your question.

You can try to do a repair on your excel installation. If you have the cd, just put it in and it should open and ask you if you want to remove, repair or reinstall. I would try a repair first. You could also try deleting the file below to see if it's something that was saved in your template.

Click start, search on windows 7 and type %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates and delete all the excel template files. xlt or xltx files Make a backup if you are unsure if you need them or not.

Hi Travis
Your advise I am sorry to say did not work.
I managed to sort out the problem myself by changing my settings in the control panel.
The virtual memory settings needed to be changed.
