Resolved Question:

I'm taking an Introduction to Powerpoint class, and some of my assignments have me download a powerpoint file and make various changes that my instructor wants me to make. On the title slide in the title placeholder there are two rounded rectangle shapes, one inside the other. They want me to subtract the inner shape from the outer one. I've already added all of the shape commands to the ribbon, but they're all greyed out and nothing I do seems to make me able to use any of the commands.
