I have Office 2007 and recently uploaded the newest service

This answer was rated:

I have Office 2007 and recently uploaded the newest service pack. I've had a display problem with Outlook and Word that seemed to go away, but has now returned with a vengeance. In the Outlook window, the text of a message I'm writing will split off and become superimposed over the menu bars. If I scroll the message down, the message window is stuck while a truncated version of the text advances on the opposite side of the program window.

The problem also occurs with Word 2007. Parts of the message will disappear as they scroll out disconnectedly across the top of the page. The display presents the document unevenly, with some paragraphs sticking out of the margins and much of the text obscured. It's as though the display bifurcates, and nowhere does one get the precise content of what one is writing.

Is there a fix that could address this split display problem in Outlook and Word?

Go to control panel / programs / programs and features

find the ms office on the list

If there are two versions uninstall the one that you dont want to use

click on the one that you do want to use and select change / repair

I have upgraded to Office 2010, but the problem with the text appearing on
the top or left side of the program window, superimposed over what's
supposed to appear, has returned. Do you have any additional suggestions on
how I could clear this problem up?
