Hello, I can assist you with your question.

Please double check your Outgoing email settings and make sure they are set properly. Please use the following guide with step by step procedures to configure your Gmail account with Outlook 2010 and verify the settings are correct: CLICK HERE

Pay particular attention to the incoming mail server (IMAP)

Wes, when you come back please get in touch with me @ [email protected]. My problem has nothing to do with gmail. Outlook is my email client on my pc. I don't want to use it with gmail at this time. I can't receive mail, but I can send. I've looked at the setings and tested them. The test shows that both send and receive are functioning. I guess that means that both maill servers are working properly, but incoming definitely is not. I tried using the repair feature on the OL 2010 disk, but that did nothing. I used Restore and that didn't work. My OS is win 7 HP 64 bit. I just really screwed something up, as 526 emails just downloaded and my OL notes are in deleted. I'm going to call someone local.

Would you credit my card, please. The data in my notes are something that I don't feel comfortable sharing with an unknown individual.
