I need assistance in finding a cause and solution for an Access

Customer Question

I need assistance in finding a cause and solution for an Access 2010 issue. My company is in the process of upgrading to Access 2010. We occasionally import text files into our database and in testing Access 2010 we found that importing tends to take up to 4 times as long (or longer) when importing to an Access 2010 database. We never had the issue in any other form of access that we used. Have you heard of this issue and have you been able to pinpoint the cause? Is there a solution out there for this?

This seems to be a problem that was fixed in SP1.

Reading of text files and Excel files by using DAO is significantly slower than in previous versions.
