Last Thursday

Let us try a system restore to a date previous to last thursday as follows:

1. To start System Restore, click Start, in search type 'System Restore' and press enter.

2. In the dialog the dialog that opens, follow prompts and when asked to select a restore point, select one that is prior to 11/3/2007 (last Thursday).

Once restore completes, check if you still have the problem.

I hope this helps.

No, it did not help. My computer stopped working completely.....I just got up again by restoring to the current date. No more questions....I will go directly to Microsoft.
