can you clarify what happens after you open the list box/combo box wizard?
is the third option you are mentioning " Find a record on my form based on the value i selected from the combo box" does it appear dimmed?
It does not appear as an option. Only two options appear
this is most probably because the form you are trying to place the combo box in, is not bound to a table.
For this procedure to work, the form must be bound to a table or a saved query.For this procedure to work, the form must be bound to a table or a saved query.
go to your form design view
right click and choose properties
the property sheet should open on the right hand side.
go to the tab named data
check the record source property box this should be pointing to a table or a query.
if not press the icon with the small arrow next to it to select a table or query.
after you are done. go back to the combo box wizard and the third option will appear
