Resolved Question:

I am using MS Word 2000 on a system with Windows XP Pro and I would like to copy all of my entries I have made in AutoCorrect and put them on another system with the same MS Word 2000. Can this be done?

Greetings,

Please, do not forget to click the Accept button if you found my answer helpful.

You can do this by copying the NORMAL.DOT file from the old computer to the new computer and overwrite the existing NORMAL.DOT file.

Close Word before you copy anything.

The normal.dot file is stored in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

Just rename the Normal.dot file on the new computer and copy the old one over.

Please, keep me updated on the status of your problem if there are any further issues. I will be available to respond.
