You need to install Microsoft Office program in order to view and edit/create powerpoint, word, excel, etc. files.
I already have installed the Microsoft Office program so I'll just take it back to Office Depot for help tomorrow. Your answer doesn't help me but thanks for your time.

Please save a powerpoint file to your computer.
Then right-click on the saved powerpoint file, then click on Properties, then click on Change , then browse to/select Microsoft Office powerPoint, then click OK, OK.

Is it possible when they installed Windows that they deleted Microsoft Office as I am not seeing it in the programs?

I'll have to double check and thanks for your help. I'll accept your advise as the system was downloaded and I never received a disk from the internet.
