Customer Question

Not Charging and the Alt is good ???
I have made a video of me showing the problem I am having and what we have done so far. Please Watch ----> https://youtu.be/_SIzq2Bt5hQ
Written problem:
Originally we replaced the Alt for a non charging issue. Put it all together and still wont charge, then after the fact we had the alt tested and it passed twice.
We checked a 175 amp fuse that goes from the starter to the alt and it was good but to be safe we replaced it. still no charge. Im at a loss. need help.

Nice video, but you have not mentioned any Voltage Tests......
What is Voltage at the Alternator / Battery Cable with Engine off & with engine running?
Have you jumpered from the Alternator / Battery Post to the (+) Battery connection?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

My mechanic just left so I will get those results for you and reply back in the next hour and half.

You need to test for Voltage + from the Battery to the In Line Fuse, across the In Line Fuse to the Alternator stud
Test Fuse "7" for Voltage on "both sides" of Fuse with Key ON
Test Fuse "30" for Voltage on "both sides" of Fuse with Key ON
Let me know what you find
