Rotary type blower control on 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis stopped working. Local Ford dealer said control could not be replaced I have taken out and inspected control. Don't know how to ell if it "broken" or not.

Hello, my name is***** place to start would be unplugging the blower motor and checking pink/white wire for voltage and orange/black wire with controller on high speed then depending on what one is missing go from there. Check power/ground and let me know. Thanks.

I ran jumper wire from battery to motor and it works fine.

Did you also run ground or did you use the orange/black wire for ground?
