I have a 2001 mercury mountineer that at times will not start but later it will start just fine. Every time I took it to shop they could not find anything wrong. Worries me to drive it because I am worried it will leave me stranded.

When you turn the key to the start position the engine should crank a short bit then start. When this issue occurs will it not crank or will it always crank?
