2004 Mercury Mountaineer has spark but won't start on starting fluid. We have found that air is being pushed out of where it should be sucked into the air intake.

Feel for air coming out the tailpipe when trying to start it/cranking it over. If nothing, I would suspect a restricted exhaust.
