Hello and good afternoon. I will certainly do my best. Is there a lock or yellow or red security light illuminated when you turn the key to start?

Your JA Expert,

the red light blinks when switch is off but when you turn switch on light quits also fuel pump runs as long as switch is on all the time

Ok, I want you to confirm something first. Let's find out the condition of the battery. Voltage and load test capabilities. Let us make sure we are dealing with a healthy strong battery and that it is not playing a role in this. Let me know what the results are and we'll go further if need be.

OK, here is our next part, we either have to get to the solenoid wire on the starter or the starter relay to do some testing. Do you have a volt meter or a test light and do you feel you could perform some testing?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
