Customer Question

The Hi Temp Low oil light comes on intermittently on my 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. When this happens the temp gauge goes from normal to pegged high. The reduced engine power indicator also comes on. Usually after about five minutes everything returns to normal, however occasionally the power reduces to zero and I am forced to pull off the road and kill the engine.

Already Tried:
I have had a mechanic replace the intake manifold. I have also had the EGR valve changed 3 times. I have also replaced the entire cooling system minus the radiator.
