Hello and welcome to Justanswer,My name is XXXXX XXXXX X am here to assist you with your question. In most cases the problem your describing is caused by a failing fuel pump, when the pump begins to fail it will overheat and this cause the fuel to foam and this creates the vapor lock condition. This usually happens more frequently in warmer weather. I would start with installing a fuel pressure to the fuel rail service port and monitor fuel pressure when the problem is occurring, you need to see 32 to 45 PSI and anything less means the pump is bad and need to be replaced. If you need pump replacement instructions, I can provide it for you at no additional cost. Please note, your Deposit doesn't constitute a payment.
