Hello and Welcome to JustAnswer,

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am here to try and assist your with your question. The fuel filter is located on the drivers side frame rail. It is under a splash shield so you will have to remove the shield to see it
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Can you tell me the appoximate location of the splash shield? Is it forward or behind the driver seat? I found one reference that said "remove the small splash shield." The only one I could find is directly in front of the gas tank. It's about 3x3. Is that the one?
Expert:  brownjeff replied 5 years ago.
Yes the one in front of the gas tank
