P1401 DPFE Sensor Circuit High Voltage

Possible CausesSetting Conditions
  • DPFEGR sensor connector is damaged (check pins for damage, and moisture)
  • DPFEGR signal circuit is open or shorted to voltage
  • DPFEGR return circuit is open
  • DPFEGR sensor has failed
  • PCM has failed
Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the DPF EGR sensor signal was more than the maximum calibrated value of 4.50v. Note: The DPF EGR PID will read more than 4.5v with this code set.
