Hello, I am Randall. Not many pictures to offer but basically you are going to start byremoving the consol top trim piece or finish panel. This iwll expose the shifter. You then be unbolting the shifter form the floor pan and lifting up to undo the cable etc.. Then you go to trans and unhook there. feed cable through

  1. Open console glove compartment door to access screws to console finish panel.
  2. Remove two screws and lift rear of console finish panel to unsnap snap-in retainers.
  3. Lift rear of console finish panel and slide rearward to release two front locating tabs. Remove console finish panel.

  1. Remove console finish panel.
  2. Remove screws retaining transmission control selector dial bezel to transmission range selector lever and housing.
  3. Remove screws retaining transmission range selector lever and housing to floorpan.
  4. Remove transmission shift cable and bracket-to-transmission range selector lever and housing retaining bolts. Disconnect cable from transmission range selector lever.
  5. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  6. Disconnect shift cable and bracket from transmission control selector connecting rod adjustment stud.
  7. Remove retaining nut from shift cable and bracket to bracket at transmission.

Follow removal procedure in reverse order noting the following:

  • Tighten shift cable and bracket nut to 13-25 Nm (10-18 ft. lbs.).
  • Tighten shifter-to-floor pan bolts to 6-8 Nm (54-71 in. lbs.).
  • Adjust transmission shift cable and tighten range selector lever-to-cable stud retaining nut to 17-23 Nm (13-16 ft. lbs.).
