transmen :

hi,the thermostat should had no effect on starting unless in the process a wire was disconected you say there is spark , did you try at least 2 cylinders for fire? did you check at least 2 injectors with the noide light? did you check for fuel pressure with a pressure gage or try spraying some choke cleaner or starting fluid in to the throttle to see if fuel is the problem?

JACUSTOMER-ik5ihzq1- :

i checked the front 3 cylinders for fire, and with a noid light, fuel was checked with guage, (van keeps flooding) but wont fire, tried starting fluid twice, and it did not work either.

transmen :

was it running before the thermostat?

JACUSTOMER-ik5ihzq1- :

yes i drove it into the garage about 20 feet, not long enough to overheat the engine

transmen :

ok, it seems like everything you need is there fuel injection spark but how about timing or air flow meter do you have a scanner

transmen :

checking what codes are present will help narrow down the problem.

transmen :

have you check if the air flow meter is conected?

JACUSTOMER-ik5ihzq1- :

all timing marks were checked and were ok. dont have a air flow meter

JACUSTOMER-ik5ihzq1- :

scanner wont tell me anything. i disconnected the battery and check engine light was never on
