Okay, your car uses standard halogen bulbs. The usual problem is a bad bulb but if your bulb is dim you may have a bad ground to the bulb. It could simply be a poor connection or a fault with the wiring. I would suggest replacing the bulb first. It would be unusual to have to replace the entire assembly.
