My accuate and sometimes doesn't work at all the first time

Customer Question

my accuate and sometimes doesn't work at all the first time I push the button
JA: What is the model/year of your Mercedes?
Customer: sorry, 2007 gl 450
JA: Are you fixing your GL yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No. I just help it move
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: also, my air suspension on the two rear wheels will sag down to the axle overnight, but works well when I start the car.
JA: How has the ride been lately? Have you noticed any fluid under the car?
Customer: no fluid under the car and the car rides fine

Hi, my name is***** don't understand this statement "my accuate and sometimes doesn't work at all the first time I push the button". Can you elaborate on the problem?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
The actuator for my rear access door does not work very well sometimes it's stops and sometimes it whines a lot and then it finally opens or closes

Ok, the common problem with the rear hatch not releasing is a faulty trunk lock. The lock includes the actuator. You can try having the mechanism lubricated and adjusted. If you have no success you will probably need to replace the hatch lock assembly.

If your rear suspension is dropping overnight it indicates a leak in the rear air springs. You will need to have the air springs checked for leakage and most likely will need to replace the air springs.

I meant to say "faulty hatch lock" in my first reply.
