2008 s550. the passenger side seat is full of air and won't

Customer Question

2008 s550. the passenger side seat is full of air and won't deflate. Also, the memory buttons on the passenger side don't work and won't set. Sometimes the side mirror on passenger side does not open up or close.
JA: How long has this been an issue? How many miles are on the car?
Customer: 135,000 happened about 3 weeks ago. It still massages just won't deflate
JA: Are you fixing your S550 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No have not tried anything yet.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: that's about it

Is there a way to deflate the seat. Replaced the one in drivers side when it wouldn't massage. Not really interested in spending money to replace. Getting air out would be great.

it sounds like there is an issue with either the door control module or the seat control module. let me check a diagram to see what fuses you can pull to try and reset the modules to see if it will help, there is no way to deflate the seat bellows as they are electrically controlled so if they fail there is no other option that to pop them or replace them.

Fuse 70 in the right side of dash fuse box is for the door control unit.

Fuse 102 in the drivers side dash fuse box. Is for the seat control module.
