My 2002 ml320 radio says when you start the car something

Customer Question

My 2002 ml320 radio says when you start the car something about teleaid and return to workshop. If I hit the ok button the message goes away
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: Yes everything else works fine and the teleaid button in the overhead console is red
JA: Are you fixing your ML320 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I tried removing the radio and checking connections and I did pull the radio fuse and reset it
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Hi, sorry for the long wait on this question. When you see this message it means that the teleaid system is malfunctioning. Since the early teleaid system is no longer used you can have this message turned off by reprogramming the vehicle at the Mercedes dealer. You can check fuse 8 and fuse 10 to see if they are good. If the fuses are okay your best solution is to have the teleaid disabled at the Mercedes dealer by reprogramming the vehicle.

Let me know if you have any questions.
