My speedometer needle was jumping around at low speed and was reading about 8 to 12 mph slow a road speeds. Now the speedometer and odometer aren't working
JA: What is the model/year of your Mercedes?
Customer: 1988 560SL

Customer: I'll try if it's easy, otherwise want to know what is likely to be wrong before I take it to a shop

Hall Sensor Location

1-The Hall sensor is located at the rear of the speedometer.

2-Odemeter cable, that screws in the back of the cluster in the picture i sent you could be wore out , stripped etc..

3- The cluster itself could be the problem
