I own a 2003 E320 w/ 135K miles. My SOS/TeleAid keeps going

Customer Question

Hello. I own a 2003 E320 w/ 135K miles. My SOS/TeleAid keeps going off repeatedly. Is there a way to deactivate it?
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Possibly. It depends on how difficult it is to disconnect it. I don't use this function
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Not that I'm aware of
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mercedes Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello, the first thing you should check is the trunk lid handle, sometimes the handle sticks in the pulled position and sets off the sos, so go back to the trunk handle and see if you can pull it, if it does not move then push it forward to release it, see if that helps. Lou P.
