Hi, my name is***** you hear any noise coming from the driver's door when you press the window switch?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.

Expert:  Marty replied 5 months ago.

nothing

Okay, check fuse 16 in the fuse box under the hood. If the fuse is good I would suspect that the window motor or the door control module has failed. The door panel will need to be removed to test the motor and module inspect the wiring and window regulator. If the regulator was bad you would normally hear some noise when you press the switch so I doubt the regulator is the problem. Removing and reinserting fuse 16 will sometimes reset the door control module and get the window working again.

is fuse 16 typically 30 amps
Expert:  Marty replied 5 months ago.

20 amp fuse

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
yesterday I think fuse 16 was removed and them placed back in but it was a green 30
Expert:  Marty replied 5 months ago.

The amperage doesn't matter. A 20 amp is supposed to be in there.
