Marty, per our last conversation you had asked me to test

Customer Question

hey Marty , per our last conversation you had asked me to test terminals A3 and B8 of my 93 SL500 at the ignition module to see if i had 12v. I do have 12v however its only at terminal A3 and nothing at B8. Not sure where to go from here.

Hi, replace fuse #9 in the main fuse box under the hood and see if you get power at B8 and see if the car starts.

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Just replaced fuse #9 but still nothing at B8 and no start
Expert:  Marty replied 5 months ago.

Do you have 12V at fuse #9?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I do have 12v at #9 fuse which is labeled diagnostic term.6
Expert:  Marty replied 5 months ago.

You must have a broken wire between the fuse and the connector. If you are 100% certain that you are checking B8 I would jump power to the terminal with a fused jumper lead and see if the car starts.

Ok I'll try to jump it. I've already replaced the injection wiring harness and the starter/alternator one as well. I understand that there may also be others that have gotten brittle and lost connection
