this the part oem number you need in case you have to replace but first you can try to spray some wd40 on it see if it is stuck before buying one .

let me know if you need any R & R procedure for it

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

yes it is stuck in the closed position now that is way door not closing

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

you can try to insert a flat head screw driver and pull up on the latch part to open, if it is frozen not moving probably you need replacement

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

is this first time it get stuck or you were having problems with it before

Customer: replied 6 months ago.

Its not a fuse or anything like that, it just needs replaced?

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

yes no fuse if the mechanical part is stuck unfortunately , have you tried opening an closing the handle doors from inside or outside few times see if it will get unstuck.

try that few times and let me know

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

ity is the part in diagram i sent you the bottom right picture in box

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
first time it has happened since i bought it over a year ago. Garage kept.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
it's not frozen, it is working fine, just will not latch.
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

the door panel has to be taking off, as long as the rod for the interior or exterior didn't not break , but hard for me to tell unless i can see what is behind the door panel , it could be just a rod link or clip and also i have changed the whole assembly before a lot , but if you take panel off you can confirm before you buy part

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

I will take panel off and look before i buy any thing , the rod & clips are available and the latch also .

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

does the interior handle feel loose to you when you pull on it to unlatch door , you know do u feel tension or not when u pull it ?

Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 6 months ago.

Let me know if you need anything else on it
