I changed the coil...and it still will not start, I am trying to check the rotor but am having trouble getting to the bottom bolt

Hello, if you have no spark at the coil then the rotor will not matter, if you hold the coil wire near metal and crank it , you should see it spark, can you confirm? just be careful and use rubber coated pliers so you do not get shocked. if there is no spark then we need to test for power and ground at the coil . if there is power and ground then we most likely have a failed crank sensor.

ok when it cranks it should flash on the negative side most likely , i dont think its the power side , but one of them should flash as cranking.
