Hello. Most times this is caused by a weak fuel pump. Have you replaced any parts or done any testing ?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
no
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 8 months ago.

Ok so get a fuel pressure gauge and install it at the passenger front of the fuel rail. When you first turn the key on it should prime up to 50 psi + tell me how long or how many cranking times it takes to build pressure.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
sometimes it starts right away other times it takes several times before it turns on some times ten minutes
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 8 months ago.

Understood , are you able to get a fuel pressure gauge and do as I suggested ?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
no fuel pressure gauge

Oh ok that helps! So when you turn the key you should feel 2 solid clicks and it should turn smoothly is that how it feels ?
Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I get nothing until it decides to start. even the display goes out while I'm trying to start the car. I keep trying then it will finally start
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 8 months ago.

ok that tells me that it very well could be the ignition switch. do you know how to do wire testing or will you have it taken to a shop?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.

Hi Doug, my name is***** you still like some help with this problem?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
my problem is when I try to start the car with the key fob it takes numerous times before it starts
Expert:  Marty replied 8 months ago.

Ok, can you explain a bit more about the no start? Does the starter crank the motor but the motor won't fire? Or does nothing at all happen when you turn the key?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
nothing happens at all then after several tries it will finally start. no clicking no lights I just keep turning the fob and then it starts
Expert:  Marty replied 8 months ago.

I noticed previously that you said the ignition switch was good. Did you replace the switch?
