Were you able to get the mirror glass off at all?
O.k.,below is a little more info on how the glass is removed.See if this helps as this is the first step to gaining access to dissasemble the mirror to replace the light assembly. They want you to use a special tool plastic wedge that doesn't damage the plastic but you can use whichever tool works best for you here. You should be able to carefully and slowly pry/press of the glass from the mirror motor itself.
I apologize for the delay, there was an issue and I wasn't able to load up your responses.
If you need to ask another question related to the mirror issue let me know.If it is a separate question this will have to be asked as a new question.Feel free to rate my help here if you like.
