Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I put the cd in but no sound
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

Ok but you also have a cd changer option too yes ? Don't you have a CD player in the trunk on the passenger side of the trunk ? Is this car new to you or have you had it awhile ?

Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

In the trunk on the passengers side is a panel that had 2 twist knobs on it. Open the panel and you will find the cd changer if it is installed can you verify ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It new to me the two screws on the passenger side is the fuse box
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It's a cd changer in the back in the trunk
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

Ok just making sure. Now I want you to unplug it and reconnect it. And see if the sound comes back on after you turn the radio off and turn it back on

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
But I put a cd in it but nothing happening
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

No no. In the cd changer does not matter. I want you to unplug it and reconnect it. The cd does not matter. I'll explain when we get the sound to come back on

Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

And your radio can accept a cd behind the screen and also in the cd changer. Your radio has two buttons. Or options for cd or cd changer

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok I unplug in plug back up yes my radio can accept a cd
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What the button for cd changer
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

It should say CDC ? If I remember did the sound come back on ?

Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

Or if you press the cd button then another option should come on the screen for cd changer

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm not getting nothing no sound and when I press cd button it just say no cd
Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

Ok , give me a second.

Expert:  Lou P. master tech replied 1 year ago.

Ok pull fuse 40 in the engine bay fuse box. If you open the hood the fuse box is in the drivers side under the black cover with two latches on it. Just pull the latches back and pull the top up. Pull fuse 40 and reinstall after a few seconds
