Customer Question

I hear an "occasional" clunk when I shift from park to reverse or reverse to drive. On some occasions, I will hear a clicking that disappears when driving at approx 30 MPH but disappears when I accelerate. This is on a 04 E320 AWD wagon.

Hi,how are you? From what you are describing, the issue that you are having is consistent with worn and loose engine mounts. The vehicle should be lifted on a lift and the engine mounts be tested to see if they are leaking and or loose.
