How do you get the unlock code on my ML350 radioafter I change my battery.. It setting at the WAIT status now.

Hi, if you post your 17 digit VIN number I can look up your radio code in the morning when I get to work. As far as WAIT mode is concerned you need to leave the key turned on to position 1 (first click) and leave the radio turned on until WAIT changes back to CODE. It usually will reset within 2 hours but can take as long as 24 hours.

Yes, but I doubt it will take that long.
The radio must remain on.
If you turn the radio off the wait time starts all over again.

If it takes longer than a couple of hours you will need a trickle charger on the battery. It probably won't take that long.

The radio can reset in as little as 15 minutes. I'd just turn the key on and check on it every 15 minutes.

The small battery charger is to keep the battery from dying if you have to leave the key on for too long.
I don't think you will have that problem.
