Hello and welcome to JustAnswert
To clarify, this vehicle has been converted to use r-134a? the original refrigerant for this vehicle was r-12.IF the vehicle has already been converted for the use of r134a the proper charge would be 1105g of r134a
1105g = 2.4 lb = 2 lb and 7 oz
at what point should the fan kick on it has not kicked on yet
im not sure I follow your question. you charge the ac system completely all at once, not related to whether the fan is on or not
the fan in front of the condenser is not going on
yes i charged the system completely
there could me multiple causes for this. is the ac compressor cycling on at all?
the chat function seems to be having some issues, im going to switch this to a "forum style" message board, we can continue to chat there

yes goes on and off
ok, this hints at the fact that the system is charged and the vehicle sees it as charged, but pressures are rising so fast (because the fan isn't on) that the ac compressor has to be turned off again quickly. Do you have a test light or a way to verify proper amperage getting to the fan. We are likely to have a faulty fan, a faulty sensor for the fan, or faulty wiring going to the fan.
fyi - I am about to head out the door for dinner, I will be away for a couple hours and back online tonight.

okay so i checked out the system for leaks and all just ordered the compressor and dryer and the 2 switches on the dryer for 245 which is a good price but 1 more question does the manfold that gets bolted to the back of the compressor with that hex bolt have to be torque ? and i am a little new to this did u recieve your payment
That hex bolt gets tightened to 17Nm ( 13 Ft. lbs.) which is not very tight.I had the question locked open so I could ensure proper service. If you are happy with your information I will get paid after you rate my answer.Thank you very much for using JustAnswer
