eurotec :

Hi, yes it was nice to have a day off yesterday. Sorry to hear you're still having trouble. The latches are not adjustable but the micro switch on each latch is adjustable. Did you see my reply yesterday?

Customer :

no had to spend time with family..the problem i"m having is the red light with top closed will blink and wont goe off..but when it is open everything works fine light goes out..

eurotec :

Yes, it sounds like the micro switches need a little adjustment.

eurotec :

When the roof is locked I think you observed that the switches should be open. It sounds like one of them needs to be adjusted downwards a little.

Customer :

Can we pick this up tomorrow..morning.what would be a good time for you..I had a long day..than you in advance

eurotec :

Same here, I'm usually online as early as 6 AM EST. If I'm busy at work I'll reply back as soon as I can.

Customer :

so that would be 3am pacific time ??

eurotec :

Correct

Customer :

talk to you tomorrow morning ..thanks

eurotec :

you're welcome

Customer :

Is there away I can lock the front latches with out putting the top up ?

eurotec :

You can use that allen wrench to manually lock them.

Customer :

tried to adjust the micro switch now wont open.disconnect and will open also can not lock the top with tool the latches wont turn to lock..I couldn't even move it on work bench....

eurotec :

You probably need to push down on the latch to simulate the roof peg entering the latch and then you should be able to turn them.

Customer :

replaced the whole assembly.. now the top magnet is giving me a issue..I have to pull down on the top for it to complete its cycle. Is there any secrets to lining up the magnet to the right position..

Customer :

are you still gonna help ??

Customer :

you coming back YY y

eurotec :

sorry for the delay I had an appointment this afternoon.

eurotec :

I'll be back asap

Customer :

let me know when back

eurotec :

Hi, sorry for the delay I am having an incredibly busy day here at the shop on top of the appointments. Is it possible for you to send me a picture of how you have installed the sensor so I can take a look at it?

Customer :

never replaced the sensor.. just the latch assembly..

Customer :

Dont get it..

eurotec :

Is it possible that the sensor was disturbed? I'd just try to bend the little feeler as close to the header as possible. Remember I had mentioned about testing the signals from each micro switch and the magnetic sensor at the module? When you pull down on the roof you could be changing the status of any of the three switches.

eurotec :

I have to leave for a little while but when I return I'll be home where it's quiet and can help you more with this. It's been a hectic day here at work today.

Customer :

thanks

Customer :

any ideas light stays on steady

eurotec :

Hi, I'll be back online later this evening. Is the top now opening and closing completely on it's own? Is the only problem that the soft top light stays on with the top closed?

Customer :

ending up taking to dealer..

eurotec :

Hi, were they able to get it squared away? Do you know what they did to fix the problem?
