Hi there, My 54 reg 109cdi vito developed a warm start problem. The van has been owned by me since new, and has has been properly serviced. It has covered 91k miles. Started perfectly when cold, and ran perfectly until I switched off the engine. Then it wouldn't re-start until the engine cooled down. I was advised to recondition the injectors. This was done by a professional company, and they have now been professionally re-fitted by a local mechanic. . There was a huge amount of carbon under the cam cover, when the injectors were removed. The engine won't fire up at all now!! Tried easy-start, but this wouldn't do anything. 1st question: Does it matter if the original injectors aren't re-fitted. I'm assuming that they are the original units, but in case they are not, will it cause the van not to start? 2nd question: If the battery was in a flat state prior to the re-fitting of the the FI'S, will this cause the immobiliser to kick in? Will a jump start cause the same problem? If so, what is the re-set sequence? 3rd question: Should I have bought a transit? :-)) All help gratefully received! Many thanks John
