yes
The cap should have retainers in the cap.
They push down and hook onto a clip on the distributor body
can you send a picture of the way the distributor cap attaches to the distributor?
The arrow is pointing to one of the clips that the anchor in the cap is attached to.
ok the clips can we get from any auto part place or are the special order
I don't think that they are sold separately
You will probably need to go to a salvage yard.
