eurotec :

Hi, ASR stands for Acceleration Slip Regulation. It is basically your traction control system on your Mercedes that prevents wheel spin when accelerating.

Customer:

How do you make any correction?

eurotec :

It depends on the problem. You will need to have the fault codes read in the ASR system and a diagnostic test performed to see what the fault is. The most common problem is going to be a faulty electronic throttle actuator or a bad wiring harness but there are numerous possibilities.

Customer:

Does ABS measn that Automatic Break System, and that the breaks need to change?

eurotec :

ABS means anti lock braking system. It is related to the traction control system also. It does not mean that the brakes need replacing. Most likely the two lights are on for the same fault.

Customer:

Thank you for your time
