Where exactly is the fuel pump relay located on a 1988 Mercedes 560SL

Hi, it's behind the glove box and hidden behind the idle speed control unit. I'll attach a picture.

It's to the left of the a/c compressor control unit.

You will probably need to remove the idle speed control unit to access the fuel pump relay.
This is also done through the glove box?
