Hi, are you still able to turn the key? If you cannot then the steering lock will need to be cut from the column and you will need to replace the complete steering lock assembly. You must be able to rotate the key in order to remove the lock cylinder. If you can rotate the key click here for the instructions to remove the cylinder.

I can only turn the key to the first click but not enough to unlock the steering wheel.

You are probably out of luck. Sometimes persistence will enable you to turn the key far enough to remove it. You can also try banging on the steering lock from under the dash while trying to turn the key. For what it's worth, this is probably a bad steering lock anyway and not a bad lock cylinder.
