eurotec :

Hi, click here for the reset procedure. Make sure the doors are closed before you begin. You may need to scroll to the outside temperature screen instead of the mileage. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Customer :

this is not for a 2008 E350 4Matic.

Customer :

are you there?

Customer :

hello?

eurotec :

Why do you say that?

Customer :

the document you sent me is for a Model 211 as of 09/01/2003 (E-Class)

eurotec :

That is correct. You have an E class built after 09/01/2003.

eurotec :

The procedure applies to cars built after that date.

Customer :

ok

Customer :

what is a cluster illumination button?

eurotec :

It's the stalk sticking out at the left side of the cluster.

Customer :

is that the stick that is used for setting mileage speed?

eurotec :

No this is a little button that sticks out of the left corner of the instrument cluster.

Customer :

and it's for what? setting the lighting on the cluster instrument panel?

Customer :

i'm just trying to figure out what you mean

Customer :

and where it's located on the instrument panel

Customer :

listen, i'm not a mechanic and i'm not familiar with the terms your using. so it would help if you could pretend to be talking to a first grader, ok?

eurotec :

LOL! I'll find you a picture.

Customer :

the photo you sent me is not my car's driving wheel or instrument panel .

Customer :

thanks

eurotec :

eurotec :

It's #12 in the picture.

Customer :

ok

Customer :

thanks

eurotec :

You're welcome. Let me know if you have difficulty.

Customer :

and if this doesn't work, then what?

Customer :

how do i contact you again?

eurotec :

I'm usually online. Just ask for eurotec.

Customer :

ok

Customer :

thanks

Customer :

bye

eurotec :

My pleasure.

Customer :

it worked after a few unsuccesful attempts

Customer :

the instructions weren't exact but I figured it out.

Customer :
