My panoramic sunroof will not open/close using the switch..manually

This answer was rated:

My panoramic sunroof will not open/close using the switch. Is it possible to close it manually? Any comments on how to fix it.
At the rear edge of the overhead control panel about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in from the left and right side there are two retaining tabs that hold the panel in place.
You can use a small slotted screwdriver or other thin tool to depress the metal retaining tabs forward and allow the rear edge of the panel to drop down.
Once the rear edge has dropped down the panel can move to the rear to remove.
You can just let it hang by the wires.
After removing the panel you will be able to see the sunroof motor.
You can insert a 4mm allen wrench into the center of the sunroof motor's shaft and turn it to manually close the sunroof.
There may be a wrench that came with the vehicle in your glovebox or trunk.

As for fixing it, it could be any number of things wrong with it.
