Indeed this can be a debilitating problem.
There are no good OTC medications for RLS.
In some cases, iron deficiency or low magnesium can cause this.
Both can be supplemented over the counter but this needs to be based on lab testing.
There are effective medications for RLS.

You can have disc disease in your neck.
An MRI is like a cat scan, without the radiation.
Tell your doctor you need an MRI of the neck.
