I have Bipolar I disorder. I've been hospitalized twice in

Customer Question

I have Bipolar I disorder. I've been hospitalized twice in the past few months, for mania and psychosis. Now, I have trouble getting things done like getting a driver's permit, even though I'm 19. I have trouble showering. I feel unmotivated although I have a desire to do things still. I'm also tired all the time. I also see things that aren't there like bloody writing on a wall and dead people and other weird things like rabbits. Could this be depression, although I am not hopeless or down? Or could it be something like schizophrenia? Also, how do I get myself to do things like shower when I don't feel like it?

I am sorry you have bipolar disorder.

this can make doing even simple tasks difficult.

have you been taking your bipolar medications regularly? if you don't take your medications, it is easier for symptoms of mania and psychosis to get out of control.
