Reasons, I am very interested in Psychology. My latest comes

Customer Question

Hey there,
for personal reasons, I am very interested in Psychology. My latest comes from my partner starting a therapy with a 20 years younger woman last year. During our investigations on the parctice she works for, to find out how they work, and so on ( I suppose, Therapists also use the net to get information on theri clients), we have found her on Facebook. She's posting, for everyone visable, pictures of her private life, herself in quite some sexy poses ( I am experienced in hystrionic personalities and she sure has several of the traits) and herself in a Bikini. We're a bit astonished- my partner is feeling uncomfortable knowing how his therapist looks like, litterally down to the bone, I also feel uncomfortable with it, knowing my partner is also a bit dependent on her, due to his psychological issues. How to deal with this?

Hello, I can understand why you may be uncomfortable with this situation regarding your therapist, but may I ask has she ever been unprofessional or unethical in therapy sessions? Regarding her personal life from what you can see, has this ever impacted her ability to provide treatment to your partner? How long has your partner been in therapy with her? Has this topic ever been brought up in therapy by your partner?
