I have taken zoloft twice in the past. Once for 18 months, the second time for 2 years. My doctor wants me to go back on it for severe anxiety, since I was so well controlled on it both times. My question is, will it work a third time?

Dr Vikas : Hello ! Thank you for your question, I’m Dr. Vikas (M.D Psychiatry) and I’ll try to help you today.
Dr Vikas : We usually prefer to prescribe those medicines which a patient has used earlier and responded well.
Dr Vikas : If you have responded well to Zoloft twice earlier there are very good chances that you will find it useful this time also.
