My friend often solves problems with violent comments. He was sexually molested as a boy, and I am wondering if this is why. For example, a woman hit his truck and did not stop. He told me he should go find her, and rape her, to teach her a lesson. Another time, his ex wife withheld visitation with his kids, and he said he would like to slit her throat and watch her bleed out. He is well liked by everyone, charismatic, and comes off as a really nice guy. What should I do,,,,if anything.

Customer:

Well I am involved with him, and although I am quite sure he is saying them out of anger, he seems to enjoy rough encounters. It seems he cannot display emotions very well, and therefore lives 2 lives, one with "socially acceptable people" and the other with people he perceives are not. I have discontinued our physical relationship, but he will not stop calling me. I want to help, but feel this is not within my parameters.
